The cartoon style gives your cat smooth dark outlines, flat colors with a single soft shade and slightly bigger, glossy eyes. It keeps the things that make them theirs, like a white chest, a tabby M on the forehead or one odd sock, and drops the fur texture.
It works especially well for black cats, whose features can disappear in a photo: the outlines and bright eyes give them shape. The sample is a black cat called Pepper.

Questions
Will a black cat look good?
Yes. The cartoon outlines and eye highlights give a black cat clear shape, which a photo or realistic style can lose. A well-lit photo still helps.
Can I add a second line?
Yes. Add their name and a line such as Cat Mom, Meow or the year, in the font and color you like.
How does the design work?
You upload a photo, and our AI artist redraws your cat in the style you pick. You see the design on the mug before you pay, and we print exactly that design (without the PREVIEW watermark).
Is the preview really free?
Yes. You can make a few free designs a day without an account or card. You only pay if you order.
What photo works best?
One cat, face clearly visible, in good light and close up. Photos where they are small, blurry or in a group work less well.
Can I change the name?
Yes. Type it in and it updates on the mug straight away. After you order, reply to your confirmation email within 2 hours if anything needs fixing, before it goes to print.
When will it arrive?
It takes 2 to 5 business days to print, then 3 to 7 business days to ship in the US. For Christmas, order by December 4.
What if it arrives damaged or misprinted?
Email us a photo within 30 days of delivery and we reprint it free, shipped free. You don't need to send it back.
What happens to my photo?
We use it only to make your design. Photos are deleted automatically within 60 days, and we never use them in ads without asking you first.
