Gifts for Someone Who Loves Their Guinea Pig

For someone who loves their guinea pig, the gift that wins is one with their own guinea pig on it, because almost everything else in the shops is a generic cartoon cavy. We draw their piggie with AI from a photo (rosettes, teddy coats, Abyssinian swirls and all) on a mug ($34.99), a 12 × 18 poster ($34.99) or a sweatshirt ($52.99), free US shipping, and you see it free before paying. A guinea pig is our mascot: it's where we started.

Gifts with their guinea pig on them

As of November 3, 2026, in US dollars.

Verdict: for a personal gift, a portrait of their actual guinea pig. For the guinea pigs themselves, GuineaDad is the specialist for fleece liners and hideys.

Which portrait product suits them

• Guinea pig mug: for a daily smile. Try the watercolor version for soft coats, or royal for a piggie in a crown.
• Guinea pig portrait poster: 12 × 18 to 24 × 36, matte archival paper, to frame.
• Pet sweatshirt: their guinea pig on a crewneck or hoodie, White, Sport Grey, Light Pink or Sand.
• A pair? Guinea pigs live in pairs or groups, so put both (or all three) in one design at no extra cost.

Gifts for the guinea pigs themselves

Useful things their owner will thank you for:

• Fleece cage liners (washable bedding): easier than shavings.
• A hidey or tunnel: guinea pigs are prey animals and need places to hide.
• Timothy hay of good quality: they eat it all day, every day.
• A vitamin C-rich treat such as a slice of bell pepper; guinea pigs can't make their own vitamin C.

Getting a good photo of a guinea pig

Get down to their level on the floor, in daylight, with a piece of veg just out of shot so they look up. A clear face with both eyes visible matters more than the whole body. The background is removed. Different coats are explained in guinea pig breeds.
