The Rainbow Bridge poem: its meaning and where it comes from
About the rainbow bridge
The Rainbow Bridge comes from a prose poem written in the 1980s about a green meadow where pets wait, well and happy again, until the people who loved them arrive and they cross the bridge together. For many people it is the gentlest way to think about a pet who has died.
This design follows it: a soft pastel rainbow arching behind your pet, a faint golden halo and warm light. It works for any animal we draw, from dogs and cats to rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and horses. Lines such as Until we meet again or Waiting at the bridge sit beneath their name.

Questions
Does it work for pets other than dogs and cats?
Yes. We draw rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, horses, reptiles and chickens too; choose your pet before you upload.
Can I leave the halo out?
Yes. Switch to the plain watercolor style for a soft portrait with no halo or rainbow.
How does the design work?
You upload a photo, and our AI artist redraws your pet in the style you pick. You see the design on the mug before you pay, and we print exactly that design (without the PREVIEW watermark).
Is the preview really free?
Yes. You can make a few free designs a day without an account or card. You only pay if you order.
What photo works best?
One pet, face clearly visible, in good light and close up. Photos where they are small, blurry or in a group work less well.
Can I change the name?
Yes. Type it in and it updates on the mug straight away. After you order, reply to your confirmation email within 2 hours if anything needs fixing, before it goes to print.
When will it arrive?
It takes 2 to 5 business days to print, then 3 to 7 business days to ship in the US. For Christmas, order by December 4.
What if it arrives damaged or misprinted?
Email us a photo within 30 days of delivery and we reprint it free, shipped free. You don't need to send it back.
What happens to my photo?
We use it only to make your design. Photos are deleted automatically within 60 days, and we never use them in ads without asking you first.
