Choosing a photo
A photo of them resting or sitting, with both eyes visible, works beautifully. It does not need to be recent or perfect: a phone photo by a window is often the best one you have.
Keeping them close
Cats have their own way of being with us: the spot on the sofa, the windowsill in the afternoon, the sound at the door. The portrait keeps their face, markings and eye color from your photo, painted in pale washes with warm light behind.
You can choose a halo with a soft cloud, a pastel rainbow, or no halo at all. Add their name and a line that means something to you, such as Always in my heart or the years they shared with you. You can email yourself the design and decide later.

What can I write on it?
Up to three short lines: their name, a date or a few words. Our guide to what to write on a pet memorial has ideas if you are stuck.
Can I see it before ordering?
Yes. The design is free to make and you see it on the mug first. Nothing is printed until you order.
How does the design work?
You upload a photo, and our AI artist redraws your cat in the style you pick. You see the design on the mug before you pay, and we print exactly that design (without the PREVIEW watermark).
Is the preview really free?
Yes. You can make a few free designs a day without an account or card. You only pay if you order.
What photo works best?
One cat, face clearly visible, in good light and close up. Photos where they are small, blurry or in a group work less well.
Can I change the name?
Yes. Type it in and it updates on the mug straight away. After you order, reply to your confirmation email within 2 hours if anything needs fixing, before it goes to print.
When will it arrive?
It takes 2 to 5 business days to print, then 3 to 7 business days to ship in the US. For Christmas, order by December 4.
What if it arrives damaged or misprinted?
Email us a photo within 30 days of delivery and we reprint it free, shipped free. You don't need to send it back.
What happens to my photo?
We use it only to make your design. Photos are deleted automatically within 60 days, and we never use them in ads without asking you first.
